As in previous editions, we are pleased to invite you to take part in the 10th Primary Care Research Conference of Mallorca, which will be held on 12 June. These conferences have become a well-established forum for meeting, discussion and learning for all professionals interested in research in our field.
In this tenth edition, we will continue to reaffirm our commitment to promoting research in primary care by sharing experiences, presenting the latest projects and their results, as well as defended doctoral theses, and fostering collaboration among the various professionals involved.
What can you find at this Conference?
• The presentation of oral communications and posters, offering the opportunity to showcase your research projects and receive feedback from other professionals.
• Lectures and sessions devoted to doctoral theses and projects, with the participation of experts who will address current and relevant topics in primary care research.
• A networking space designed to encourage connections between researchers and the creation of synergies.
The conference will begin with the keynote lecture by Miguel Ángel Maciá, Head of the Pharmacoepidemiology Area at the AEMPS, entitled:
“Experience with BIFAP and future perspectives: considerations on the use of primary care electronic health record databases for research”.
The closing session will be delivered by Dr Rosa Morros Pedrós, Coordinator of the Drug Research Unit at IDIAP Jordi Gol, with the closing lecture:
“The importance of clinical trials in primary care: is it possible to carry them out?”.
On the previous day, 11 June, three face-to-face training workshops will be held in the teaching classrooms of Son Espases University Hospital (HUSE), focusing on real world data, research implementation and systematic reviews—topics of great interest and usefulness for the development of research in our field.
